PT-141 is a melanocortin based peptide that can address the problem of sexual dysfunction. For men who experience erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence, and women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD). It can be an effective alternative to Viagra or Cialis. It also has the additional benefit of boosting energy and producing a natural tan.
PT-141 is developed from the Melanotan II peptide, which was initially tested as a sunless tanning agent, but it also was found to cause sexual arousal and spontaneous erections.
Melanotan II was created to stimulate melanogenesis, the process that is responsible for skin tanning. Melanotan II was also known to suppress appetite and enhance libido, in addition, to promote skin tanning. During the phase 2B clinical trial of PT-141, it was tested on premenopausal women, and it was shown to help with hypoactive sexual arousal disorder. Just recently it has been FDA approved for HSDD and can be used off label for ED.

Cycle times on PT-141 tend to be slightly shorter.
Orally it has the most bioavailability.
For immediate function, up to 72 hours. The half life appears to be right around 72 hours as well.
It is not recommended.
